  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 6.

What we do not collect

We never collect or store your card number, CVV, expiry date, UPI PIN or net banking credentials. Those details are entered directly on our payment partner’s secure page. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, along with a transaction reference.

2. Children’s privacy

Our products are designed for children, but this website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Orders must be placed by a parent, guardian or another adult.

If a child has provided us with personal information, a parent or guardian may write to info@anikijewellery.com and we will delete it promptly. We do not build marketing profiles of children and we do not use children’s data for advertising.

3. How we use your information

  • To process, pack, dispatch and deliver your order.
  • To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and tracking updates.
  • To handle exchanges, cancellations, refunds and courier claims.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and misuse of the site.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with parties who need it to run this business:

  • Courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order and arrange exchange pickups. They receive your name, address and phone number.
  • Our payment gateway, to process payments and refunds securely.
  • Our hosting and technology providers, who store the website and its data.
  • Email and analytics providers, to send order emails and understand site usage.
  • Government or law enforcement authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

These partners are permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us, and not for their own purposes.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. Some of our service providers may process data outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection applies.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies, which keep your cart, session and checkout working. The site cannot function without these.
  • Preference cookies, which remember choices such as items in your wishlist.
  • Analytics cookies, which tell us how many people visit and which pages they use.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site such as the cart and checkout will stop working.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Order and invoice records: retained for as long as required under Indian tax and accounting law, currently 8 years.
  • Account details: retained while your account is active, and deleted on request.
  • Newsletter subscription: retained until you unsubscribe.
  • Support emails: retained for up to 3 years so we can refer back to your history.

8. How we protect your data

  • The entire website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
  • Payments are handled by a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
  • Access to order data is restricted to the people who need it to fulfil orders.
  • Administrator accounts are protected by strong, unique passwords.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we take these measures seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you,
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date,
  • delete your personal information, where we are not legally required to keep it,
  • stop sending you marketing emails,
  • withdraw consent you previously gave.

To exercise any of these, email info@anikijewellery.com from the email address on your order. We respond within 7 working days. Please note that we cannot delete records we are legally required to retain, such as tax invoices.

10. Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Transactional emails about an order you have placed are not marketing and will still be sent.

11. Third party links

This website links to other sites, including our social media pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date at the top will change. Please review it periodically.
