These Terms & Conditions govern your use of anikijewellery.com and any order you place on it. By browsing this website or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. About us
This website is operated by Anjali Bhavesh Bhadawat, trading as ANIKI.
anikijewellery.com (“ANIKI”, “we”, “us”, “our”) sells jewellery designed for children. Our full business and contact details are on our Contact page. You can reach us at info@anikijewellery.com.
2. Who may buy
You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into a contract in India to place an order. Our products are intended for children, but the purchase must be made by an adult. By ordering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.
3. Your account
You may order as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under it. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is being misused, used fraudulently, or used in breach of these terms.
4. Products, descriptions and images
We describe every piece as accurately as we can. Please note:
- Product photographs are taken under studio lighting. Colour, shade and finish can appear different on different screens.
- Pearls, stones and handmade elements vary slightly from piece to piece. This is a characteristic of the product, not a defect.
- Dimensions given are approximate and may vary marginally.
5. Safety information
Our jewellery is designed for children, and safety matters to us as much as it does to you.
- Several pieces contain small parts. They are not suitable for children under 3 years and can be a choking hazard.
- Children should be supervised by an adult while wearing jewellery.
- Jewellery should be removed before sleeping, bathing, swimming and sport.
- Discontinue use immediately if any irritation occurs.
- The age guidance shown on a product page is a recommendation, not a safety certification. A parent or guardian remains responsible for deciding whether a piece is appropriate for their child.
6. Prices and payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Shipping is charged as set out in our Shipping Policy.
- We accept UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking and wallets through our payment partner. Available methods are shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by a third party payment gateway. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking credentials.
- An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully authorised.
- We may correct pricing errors. If a price shown was clearly wrong, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
7. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we have received it, and the contract is formed when we dispatch the order.
We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where:
- the item is out of stock,
- there was an error in the price or product description,
- we cannot deliver to your pin code,
- we suspect fraud, misuse or a breach of these terms,
- the order appears to be for commercial resale.
If we cancel an order that you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
8. Coupons and offers
- Coupons are valid for the period stated and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Unless stated otherwise, only one coupon may be used per order and coupons cannot be combined with other offers.
- We may withdraw or modify an offer at any time before an order is placed.
- We may cancel an order and void a coupon if it has been obtained or used improperly.
9. Shipping, exchanges and cancellations
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Exchanges, cancellations and the limited circumstances in which a refund applies are governed by our Refund & Exchange Policy. Both policies form part of these terms. In summary: we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind, we offer a free exchange within 7 days, and we pay the shipping on exchanges.
10. Care of your jewellery
To keep a piece looking its best, keep it away from water, perfume, sanitiser and chemicals, wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wear, and store it in its pouch or box. Damage caused by not following this care guidance is not covered by our exchange policy.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including the ANIKI name and logo, product designs, photographs, illustrations, text and page layouts, belongs to ANIKI or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or use any of it commercially without our written permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this website to:
- break any applicable law,
- place fraudulent or speculative orders,
- introduce viruses or harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers,
- scrape, copy or harvest content or data by automated means,
- post content that is unlawful, abusive, obscene or infringes anyone’s rights.
13. Reviews and content you submit
If you submit a review, photograph or comment, you confirm it is your own, that it is accurate, and that you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to display and use it in connection with our brand. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unrelated.
14. Third party links
This site may link to other websites, such as our social media pages or our payment partner. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.
15. Disclaimers
We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Content is provided for information and does not amount to medical, safety or professional advice.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website.
18. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, riots, government restrictions, courier failures, power outages or internet failures.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Please check this page before ordering.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
21. Grievance redressal
Our Grievance Officer is Anjali Bhavesh Bhadawat. If you have a complaint about an order, a product or your data, write to info@anikijewellery.com with the details and your order number. We acknowledge every complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 7 working days.
